My main music projects are The Dadaists, and Regan & BrichenoI'm also got some other musical irons in the fire.

In addition, I'm currently writing a kind of memoir, I suppose. It may or may not ever be published.

I started out in music playing bass for Gene Loves Jezebel and I still occasionally collaborate with founder member Jay Aston. I went on to become an original co-founder of All About Eve. Later, I had a semi-solo project called 'Mice'.

LET'S QUICKLY GET THE NEGATIVE STUFF OUT OF THE WAY FIRST:

I'm quite tired of being talked down to and 'mansplained' at, and so although it looks sad, I'm going to show you the letters I have after my name. Here you go: I am Julianne Regan, MMus, PGCHE, FHEA

I'm also very tired of people thinking that I am a) well off and b) a retiree. I am neither.

THE POSITIVE STUFF: I'm grateful that there is still an audience for what I do. I never take that for granted.

What you can find me doing:  Composing. Songwriting. Journalism. Academic book chapter writing. Video making etc.

It's all here at Linktree

I then left the music business, spent some years in the wilderness, had some day jobs. I briefly dropped back into music to co-write and sing with The Eden House. I then got myself a Masters degree in Songwriting. After that, I ended up spending 7 years at Bath Spa University where I was a senior lecturer in BA Commercial Music, MA Commercial Music and MA Songwriting. While at BSU I gained a PGCHE and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (FHEA).
